Dogs at Weddings

Dogs at Weddings
Oh my what can I say about dogs at weddings! It’s a big YES from me. I’m a huge dog lover and having your best furry friend with you on your wedding day is a must! Lots of couples have their dogs at weddings and they have actual roles during the ceremony, I’ve seen doggies with the rings attached to their collar, doggies carrying baskets of confetti, dogs retrieving the written vows from the best man and dogs just being dogs and eating the wedding cake (no…seriously this has happened) You can buy little outfits, tuxedos, tiaras, bow ties the options are endless and ridiculously cute, you can even commission our florist to create a collar or arrangement to attach to their lead. Sometimes it can be a worry having to look after your dog on your wedding day, I would suggest you have a designated someone to look after them, make sure your venue has dog friendly rooms so that you can take them away for some quiet time, you can also arrange for a dog sitter to take your little pooch home after the ceremony. It can be quite stressful for some dogs so you do have to think carefully about it. Remember you are in a strange place surrounded by lots of people and noise, you might even have fireworks at the end of the night so that is definitely something to think about if you have your dog with you. But if you are thinking about it, seriously YES YES YES…do it, I promise you, you’ll have a ton of photographs of your gorgeous furry friend.
