Elopements are fast becoming the most popular way to get hitched. I am aN ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER CORNWALL and absolutely love photographing small intimate weddings and elopements. Lots of people haven’t heard of Elopements…well, its when a couple decide to get married and not have lots of guests, its often just the couple. The minimum requirement to make a wedding legal is having two witnesses attend over the age of 18. These can be people you know or people from the venue or just two random strangers! I have been asked a number of times and always take great pleasure in signing my name to say I’ve seen people say their I do’s to each other. Elopements are perfect for couples who don’t want the fuss of a big wedding or feel too shy to share their most special day with others. I have to say they are some of the most romantic ceremonies I have ever attended. You’ll often find me hiding behind my camera tearing up. Eloping is just as special and precious to couples it’s not a cop out or second best, if its what you want its the perfect day! When it comes to being and elopement photographer cornwall, I am soooo excited! I get to shoot all the lovely elements of a wedding day but without the people herding! It’s just you guys and me, your third wheel for an hour or two. I ask my couples to build in a little time after their ceremony to get some couple shots and being in Cornwall we are never to far from the coast or wooded area. I shoot in my same informal, documentary way. We do lots of walking and chatting and from this I capture gorgeous, natural and relaxed images. Lots of couples choose to elope mid week too, so the cliff’s and beaches tend to be a bit quieter.
