Priston Mill Wedding Photographer

How amazing to be asked to be a Priston Mill Wedding Photographer. Jess and Chris, decided to tie the not at the gorgeous Priston Mill near Bath, a stunning venue with gorgeous grounds and buildings. Jess and Chris were looking for a laid back wedding they didn’t want a lot of fuss just a big party with friends and family enjoying the surroundings. Being a Priston Mill Wedding Photographer is such a joy, the gardens especially over the summer months are bursting with fragrant roses and blooms it really is the perfect setting for a country wedding. Jess and Chris’s ceremony was held in the Tythe Barn and then followed by drinks and canapés out on the lawn, there were garden games and little tipi’s dotted around for shelter. The couple walked out into the garden through an amazing confetti tunnel, I always find this is such a lovely way to start the afternoon celebrations off. There were lots of hugs and hello’s from friends and family that haven’t been together for a long time. I love photographing people and emotions so this was a great time to capture the love and laughter. I left the couple to enjoy saying hello and then later in the day we took a stroll out into a nearby field for some couple portraits. My style is pretty relaxed so walking and chatting whilst taking some documentary style photographs works brilliantly, I don’t put couples in awkward poses and I very rarely ask you to look into camera. I find my couples are pretty relaxed and want their photography to reflect the day and to tell a story. All in all an amazing, emotional, fun day was had by everyone, including me!
