Outdoor Elopement Tavistock

A sunny garden Elopement at the beautiful Ever After in Lower Grenofen

Rachael and Claire’s outdoor elopement Tavistock was the first of my season at the beautiful venue, Ever After. The couple kicked off their wedding celebration in style and hired a chauffeur driven car from their home in Bristol and made the 2 hour journey down to Devon, they arrived the night before their wedding and stayed in the Honeymoon cottage on site.

The couple decided to get ready seperately as their wedding outfits were a surprise to each other, so Rachael got ready in the annex and Claire got ready in the honeymoon cottage. Rachael chose an incredible blue/teal 3 piece suit which was specially tailored for her and the Claire went for a chic 2 piece cream suit with a boot cut trouser and amazing gold boots!

I love the getting ready part of the wedding day, it’s filled with so much emotion, excitement, nerves, anticipation and happiness, it’s all there. Rachael walked to the outdoor barn first and was there to meet Claire as she walked down the aisle, it was such a lovely moment. The ceremony was very emotional both Claire and Rachael had a few tears, along with a few glassy eyes from us…I still find ceremonies so special.

The couple celebrated the afternoon with drinks and canapés and then we head out in the forest for some photographs, I keep it very relaxed and natural when it comes to photographing my couples and treat it as a lovely walk through nature and we just happen to take some photographs along the way.

Dinner was served and I said my goodbyes, thank you Rachael and Claire for a wonderful day, I’m so happy you love your photographs.
