DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER DEVON

I have been shooting weddings for some time now and being a Documentary wedding photographer Devon has to be a highlight. I love the Devon countryside and it rugged coastline, it gives my images such a beautiful backdrop. I photograph moments as they happen and like to photograph my clients in a documentary way that is natural and relaxed. I photograph the little details during the wedding day and find they really gives a collection of images a sense of story. I have been photographing documentary weddings in Devon for a long time and give each wedding the closeness and distance it needs to produce, relaxed images for my clients. The things you do naturally are the most lovely so I try not to intervene, but rest assured I am on hand to give gentle direction when needed. Lots of my clients are super shy and I find working in this way really helps with being natural infront of the camera. I don’t do any awkward cheesing into camera or strange poses, we do lots of walking and chatting and hopefully a lot of laughing. I don’t take you away from your guests for hours on end (unless you want to make an escape) It’s great to have some time from you but I would much rather you enjoy the party. I concentrate on your guests, the laughs, the hugs and the tears. Wedding have all of these emotions that why I love photographing them. All of my favourite elements come together on one day, gorgeous detail shots, landscape, architecture, emotion and a lota lota LOVE!
